There is a phenomena that happens to travelers who have just returned home and are settling back into "real life."
I call it Post-Departum Depression. It's when you come to the crashing realization that every minute of every day isn't full of a new, exciting discovery in a foreign land. That you don't have an endless supply of funds and must therefore work for a living. That work is not as exciting as travel, but one must make the best of it.
In other words, I've got the working-woman blues right now.
The best cure for these blues? Why, take another vacation, of course.
